Our place in the city did not allow for easy access to views of the horizon – save up or down the street itself. This cloud formation began building as I was working upstairs. I photographed it through the open bathroom window.

Yesterday evening at 6:26 p.m. my beautiful first child, Kathryn Jill Peters, gave birth to her first child, a 7 lb. 1 oz. boy named Leo. The exultant father, Lee, called with the news about 45 minutes after the birth to relay the news.

Leo is named after Jill's maternal grandfather, Leonard Pelser, whose birthday it yesterday, who has been featured on this blog, and who passed away a couple of years ago. Her Gramps was a most important person in Jill's life.

We are so thrilled for Jill & Lee, and so blessed at the safe and healthy arrival of another grandchild.
